When asked for a single word to describe my style of event planning, “adaptable” was the first and only response.
A well planned event must be fluid, much like a flawlessly choreographed performance. When done correctly, attendees are never aware of behind-the-scenes planning, logistics, vendor relationships, failsafes, and inner workings of an event.

Allison created Camden Pride Pop-Ups as a way to celebrate the Midcoast's vibrant LGBTQ+ community and raise funds for OUT Maine to support queer youth across the state. Birch Bark Events partnered with 47 local businesses to bring these events to life in Camden and Rockport throughout the month of June. In addition to the multitude of community that were curated, organized and managed by Birch Bark Events, Camden residents and visitors alike had the opportunity to participate by following a Camden Pride Pop-Ups treasure map. This map, designed by Keenan Boscoe of Topo Paper and Post, led to all the local restaurants and businesses who were providing featured Pride products during June.
