and my role is to listen and transform one’s vision into reality. I can help design it or simply carry out the logistics with care and efficiency, depending on what is needed. I am known for asking the questions that one might not think to ask but is glad when I do. The details are what make an event a success and I tend to all of them so that people can be present and enjoy. It is with an appreciation of economy and making every dollar count that I can finesse a budget to make something beautiful. I am very happy to help create a budget, if needed. There are several organizational tools and structures I provide to keep us on track and ensure that the vision of the event is supported and executed.

My collaborative approach is what sets me apart from other event planners. I am able to see potential in relationships and activate everyone to their strengths (vendors, team members, even the clients and their family/friends/guests) without being an imposing presence. As someone who prioritizes open communication, I remain fluid, malleable, adaptable while still staying on schedule. I am able to empower and steward the project with a general feeling of ease. It’s part of being a creative problem-solver with a talent for troubleshooting under pressure. I believe in the people with whom I work. 

Anytime there is a group of people in a room for a common purpose a community is (and should be) created. That is the mark of a successful event to me. Events are fun and, as I remove the stressors for the success of the event and the people involved, relationships deepen. For years this has been my philosophy and that is why this work gives me such joy. It may not be conventional but I have seen time and again how this works to create an incredibly memorable experience for clients and their guests.
